Sif Black is Runewood’s smoked oak end-grain cutting board, created for those who want the function and proportions of Sif with a darker, more distinctive expression.
Its 50 mm end-grain construction provides a substantial and stable work surface for regular kitchen use, while the smoked oak gives each board a deep, naturally varied tone.
Each board is handmade in Småland and finished individually by hand.

The smoking process deepens the natural colour of the oak while allowing the grain and individual character of the wood to remain visible. Natural variation in tone is part of the material.
Finish
Finished with tung oil and beeswax to protect the wood while preserving its natural feel and character.
